Fantastic sterling silver photograph or picture frame with the popular engine turned detail dating from the late 1920's during the Art Deco period. The English hallmark can be found to the frame edge, this is where you see an anchor for the Birmingham assay office along with the date letter for the year 1928. The makers mark can also be found here for J W Tiptaft & Son Ltd (James Walter Tiptaft). The glass front is present & the frame stands well, but the base clips would benefit from being tightened.
