Enamel Royal Souvenir Book Pendant Charm Antique Edwardian 1902.



Simply charming antique souvenir book pendant or charm to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra in 1902. The front cover has the initials 'ER' for Edward Rex & the date 1902 in the royal blue enamel. To the rear you see the symbols of the realm, the rose for England, the thistle for Scotland & the shamrock of Ireland. The book itself is gilt metal.
The book shuts securely when hung, good hinge to open. Inside you see images of the new King & his Queen, along with the new heirs who would eventually become King George V, Queen Mary & Edward VIII, there is also an image of the past, Queen Victoria who had died the previous year 1901.
The enamel to the front is in good order. All the images are also in good order but the image of the future Edward VIII is coming away from the page please see the pictures.
Due to it's size the book would look fantastic hung from a bracelet as a charm, as well as a necklace as a pendant.
