Diamond & Pearl 18k Gold Ring Antique Victorian c1890 in Antique Jewellery Ring Box.



Stunning diamonds & pearls set in 18ct yellow gold ring dating from the late Victorian period being sold in a antique jewellery ring box also dating from this time.
There are marks to the inside of the band, you can see the date letter 'R' however the rest of the mark has been covered in gold possibly from the ring being altered in size at some point in its history. If it has been altered in size it has been done well as no visible lines to the inside or outside of the band, please see pictures. This is where you also find the makers mark 'CF/FS'.
The diamonds have been tested as real, both are present & in good order, the size of the stones is approx 0.1 carat each. The ring contains 3 pearls, the largest to the centre with 2 smaller pearls to the outside, the centre pearl is in good order & of a good lustre, both smaller outside ones have darkened see pictures.
The ring is being sold in an antique ring box. The interior silk & velvet of the box is in good order. The outside is in good order except for the base which has a section of the box covering missing, please see the picture. Good hinge to open & the box shuts securely.
