Copper Carriage Hand & Foot Warmer Hot Water Bottle Antique Edwardian c1911

Pete Sheldon

This antique hot water bottle or foot warmer made from copper would have been in a motor car or carriage. It has a striped ribbed pattern on the surface and a screw lid to the top. Although it has no maker's marks, it does have a small plaque that reads 'Fill Warmer Quite Full'. Offered in great overall condition with a few dings and dents as one would expect , looks to be fully functioning but has not been tested. The rubber grommet has perished and would need replacing ( please see pictures )
