Antique early 19th Century Good Quality Bacchanalian Themed Bottle Coaster in Silver Plated Copper (Old Sheffield Plate) finished with a fitted carved walnut floor with a turned pattern and central plated roundel.
The Rim to the coaster shows the Bacchus theme in the form of a perpetual gallery wrap of Grapes conjoined by vines and leaves, the side wall to the coaster is flute panelled and impressed to the rim with the makers pictorial mark of that of a trio of Follies and a manor House along with the EP mark indicating electroplated silver, overall in good condition but there is wear to the silver plating in places with the copper bleeding through adding to the overall character of the piece, a favoured character of Old Sheffield plate.
The Coaster stands 5 cm tall and has a diameter to the interior of 11.5 cm and a maximum diameter of 18.5 cm.
The underside to the coaster has been refitted with green felt, the original textile having long perished due to age.
