Chinese Qing Period Silver & Mother of Pearl Belt c.1821-1850
This high quality antique Chinese ladies belt dates to the Qing Dynasty (1821-50). Constructed in Chinese Silver with Mother of Pearl discs it depicts Dragons and clouds with Chinese characters.
The characters include: Fu-Happiness; Shou-Longevity; Old like the pine tree; young as Lingzhi & Orchid; Flower Blossom depicting Wealth and Nobility; Bamboo representing safety and security.
Offered in very good condition. The silver is unmarked.
