In need of a little tlc, this is a charming antique trinket wooden box with a sterling silver top marked with the collectable assay office of Chester dating from the Edwardian era. The box is of a good size & could be used for trinkets or for jewellery. The silver hallmark can be found to the top to the edge of the central shield area, Chester assay office along with the date letter for the year 1911.
There is wear to the high points of the silver, a split to the wood at one end of the box & the hinge is a little loose, please see the pictures as they form part of the description & condition report. We have a matching box please see the listing BLA10015.
