Chester Assay 9k Gold Engine Turned Cufflinks Vintage English Art Deco 1936.



Dating from a time when all well dressed gentlemen would wear cufflinks to secure the cuffs of their shirts, & from the collectable assay office Chester which shut in 1962. This is a fantastic pair of engine turned 9ct yellow gold cufflinks with English Art Deco hallmarks.
The 9ct gold English hallmark can be found to the rear of the cuffs, this is where you see the shield mark for the Chester assay office along the with the date letter for the year 1936. To the other side of the rear you find the makers mark 'HH&S'. All the front cuffs are engine turned, all the detailing is good please see the pictures.
Size of cuffs 1.7 x 1.2 cm or 0.7 x 0.5 inches.
Length of links 1.8 cm or 0.7 inches.
Total weight 4.6 grams or 2.875 penny weight.
