Cafe Florian Domus Vase by Gaetano Pesce- 1st Pressing of 500 c.1995

This iconic sculptural misshapen vase was designed by the famous contemporary Italian Artist and Designer Gaetano Pesce and produced by Domus. It was created to celebrate the history and beauty of Venice at the Florence Bienalle Exhibition held at Cafe Florian in 1995 and was made by pressing different coloured rubber into a mould. As such each example comes out unique. Though later reproduced in much larger numbers, this vase is one of the first 500 to be pressed (latter ones were more irridescent in colour).

Pesce's creativity has put him at the top of the contemporary art and design market for many years now giving pieces such as this great investment potential.

Please see photos but it is offered in very good original condition.
