Antique Mid 19th Century Tibetan Hand Cast and Finished Bronze Figure of The Buddha laying Prone upon a Dais platform detailed to the front with closed tablet galleries featuring Elephants as though holding up the Buddha, to the sides and back there are traditional Lotus Flowers and the Rhododendron.

The Bronze was likely a piece crafted to install within a private shrine on a small altar (or similar) and is in very good Antique Condition with the bronze boasting a pleasing aged patina including aged Verdigris, The statue weighs 345 Grams or 12.1 ounces and measures 9.5 cm x 5.3 cm x 3.7 cm or 3.8 inches x 2 inches x 1.5 inches in dimension.

This fantastic Buddha will add as fine decorators piece for the home as well as a highly collectible Period Asian bronze.
