A substantial sized brass trench art shell casing from First World War dated 1917 on bottom. Made into a vase by peeling top end back into petals. Engraved on side GRv (King George V) Royal Engineers; On Soit Qui Mal Y Pense, translating to 'Whoever thinks it wrong'. Lovely patina with age.
