Brass French Morbier Comtoise Clock Dial Surround With Cherub Decoration Antique Victorian c1860. An exceptional metal ware piece being formed from a thin sheet brass with the surround originally being placed to border the clock face. The piece is adorned with a charming hugging cherub scene with an ornate scrolled leaf border finish. A wonderful decorative wall piece in its own right. There are some light age related signs of wear but these are minimal and do nothing to detract from the piece when on display.
