This charming print made by the cigarette manufacturer B.D.V ( Godfrey Phillips Ltd ) who introduced B.D.V cigarettes. The name B.D.V originated from BOYD & Dibrell Virginia who were the US suppliers of their tobacco. This print depicting the 1914 league colours for Sheffield United Football club is on a satin silk background with the player in the middle and the supporting team printed underneath , this print is in great condition and is portrayed well. Some minor staining to the left hand side of the print and some red spotting the the bottom right ( see pictures ).
