Almondine Garnet Seed Pearl 9k Gold Ring Antique English Georgian 1833.
Charming antique Regency ring in 9ct yellow gold with a forget me not flower detail to both shoulders set with almondine garnets & seed pearls dating to the year 1833 during the late Georgian period.
The English hallmark can be found to the inside of the band, this is where you see an anchor for the Birmingham assay office along with the date letter for the year 1833, there is also a makers mark 'J.W' for John Wells. The ring contains 4 almondine garnets, all test as real, there are minor nibbles or wear, please see the pictures, all the stones are of a good colour. The see pearls have darkened & lost some of their nacre or lustre again please see the pictures, all the seed pearls are present. There is an engraved detailing around the band which is slightly worn again see the pictures.
