9k Gold Watch Chain Necklace 45.3cm / 17.8" Antique English Edwardian 1919.
Dating from a time when the world was in turmoil, this is a fantastic 9ct yellow gold watch chain which is long enough today to be worn as a chain necklace with English Edwardian hallmarks.
The hallmark can be found to the large link connecting the T bar chain, this is where you see an anchor for the Birmingham assay office along with the date letter 'U' for 1919. The links of the chain as well as the T bar & dog clip have the simple '9 .375' gold mark for 9ct.
To the one end the chain has a T bar pendant fob charm, the other a dog clip clasp. The dog clip is secure with a good spring. The chain is long enough to be worn around the neck being fixed to the larger hallmarked link with the dog clip.
