Charming forget me not flowers to the side of this 9ct yellow gold propelling pencil & fountain pen dating from the Victorian period.
The gold has been tested as there are no gold marks. The flower detailing is around the whole case, there is a one point a line, it is not split but may on this line in the future I think this has been caused from use, please see the pictures. There is also a thinning to the bale ring.
To open you pull the end out, there are some initials, please see the pictures to this section. There are 2 small channels to the side which have a little knob in to use to slide the propelling pencil or fountain pen nib up for use, good movement to both. The fountain pen nib is for dipping into ink, there is no ink reservoir.
