A Mezzotint entitled 'Rural Life' dated 1783, featuring a fashionably dressed young woman holding a basket on her left arm, with a hen, a rooster, and four chickens feeding at her feet in front of a small building with clapboard walls and an overhang above a Dutch door, probably a chicken coop.
Printed in London for R. Sayer and J. Bennett, map and printsellers, No. 53 Fleet Street, as the Act directs, 24. February, 1783.
The mezzotint is hand coloured, and has been reframed. It is in good antique condition, with some wear to the print and frame.
