Graduating Sterling Silver Watch Chain Shield Fob Antique Edwardian English 1913.
Dating from a time when every well dressed gentleman would wear a watch chain to hang his pocket watch from his jacket or waistcoat, this is a fantastic sterling silver graduating albert watch chain dating from the Edwardian era with English hallmarks.
The links of the chain are marked with the silver lion, the English hallmark can be found to the link that connects the T bar pendant to the chain, here you see an anchor for the Birmingham assay office along with the date letter for the year 1913. The T bar pendant & dog clip clasp is also marked with the same date letter. The shield pendant fob is again marked for the Birmingham assay office but with the date letter for the year 1914. The shield to the front is blank, & has charming unusual Scottish thistle flowers to the side, please see the pictures.
