Forget Me Not Suffragette 9k Gold Dangly Pendant Lavalier Antique Edwardian c1910.
This is a time in British history when women were fighting for the right to vote & The Suffragette Movement was born. To enable like minded ladies to easily identify themselves to each other, they would wear 3 colours, in their clothes, scarves & even jewellery. The green represented the word 'give', white for 'women' & violet for 'vote'. Often in jewellery the stones used were green peridot, white seed pearls & violet amethyst as is the case with this pendant.
Marked to the rear '9ct'. The stones have been tested as real amethyst & peridot, all the stones including the seed pearls are all present, in good order & of a great colour, please see the pictures.
