A lovely dark turquoise enamel Patch Box. This Antique Georgian box reads: 'A Present From Chepstow' a local town in Monmouthshire, depicting a steam ship. In the 18th Century Chepstow had a thriving shipbuilding industry till the late 1840's. Some cracks in and wear and discolouring to the enamel, commensurate with age, see pictures. This box closes but not entirely secure, no internal mirror, see pictures.
