Antique Early 19th Century Georgian period 'Witches Tear' Lavender Scent bottle in good condition, manufactured in mouth blown and hand cut amber glass this lovely bottle would have been Gypsy hand painted with enamels after manufacture and then resold, the painted floral work to the bottle making it something more than a 'throw away' scent, which is exactly what they were.
The bottle is in well preserved condition save for a couple of chips present to the mouth of the bottle, other than that it is in original condition more or less.
The bottle measures 16.5 cm in length with a body width and breadth of roughly 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
Will complete with a cork and be ready for use if so desired.
